Within the remarkable universe of Cesare Pompanon

Cesare Pompanon is a jewelry house established in Lyon in the workshops of Maison Bosle in 1936, the heritage of the French jewelry tradition is fully flourishing. With three generations of experience, the artisans have created unique know-how, anchored in creativity, quality and innovation.

In the historic workshop, Eric, a passionate designer, gives birth to emblematic models, including the famous trembling ring. This iconic piece of jewelry owes its originality to an ingenious rotating pivot system patented since the 90s which provides perpetual movement to the ring.

At Cesare Pompanon

the creative process begins with the meticulous sourcing of gems, under the careful supervision of Christine and Adriana. This constant control ensures exceptional quality, a characteristic that defines each of the house's models.

Mastery of the art of lost wax casting constitutes an essential element of Cesare Pompanon know-how. This meticulous technique begins with the assembly of a wax model on a tree, thus forming a coherent whole. This assembly is then subjected to a melting process where liquid gold replaces the wax, thus creating the raw shape of the future jewel. This step is crucial because it provides a solid foundation for the jeweler who will be able to chisel, hammer, abrade then prepare the piece for setting.

René Pompanon, first setter in the family

He has always embodied the excellence for which the house is renowned. Today, setting remains a crucial step carried out within the workshops, showcasing a growing diversity of gems.

Polishing and bathing are the final steps to enhance metal and gems, creating jewelry of unparalleled perfection. At the heart of the creations, artistic techniques and exceptional aesthetic details forge the Cesare Pompanon identity.

The Carved technique consists of sculpting the stone from its underside while maintaining a smooth upper surface, thus creating a unique play of reflections for the stone.

The characteristic triangular claws of Poppy Blue rings subtly evoke the regular pattern of the brioletted stones, thus creating visual harmony while ensuring optimal support of the whole. The lace setting which inspired the name of the Primavera in Pizzo collection, brings delicate relief to the pear-shaped stones by surrounding them with small gems, adding a refined and elegant touch to each piece.

Emblematic innovation

of the house is the diamond tool created in the 1950s, which allows you to chisel the metal using a diamond tip, thus giving the gold a shine similar to that of a diamond. These unique techniques reflect the house's commitment to artisanal excellence and refined aesthetics, marking each creation with a distinctive signature.
